Hopefully you know that apart from my work with the UK Zen Cart template, helping people to get their shops up and running etc, I also specialize in organic search engine optimisation. We all know that one of the cheapest and best ways to secure new customers is via search engine traffic and there are some new developments in the world of SEO that affect anyone with a web site.

About six months ago I was fortunate enough to be invited to help test and evaluate some 'new' SEO software. I was a bit hesitant to start with because let's face it ... almost everyone has access to some kind of software that claims it will make SEO a breeze. Right?

Well in this case I was very wrong. This was like no software I had ever used and the results I've been getting are nothing short of astounding. Part of the process involved me re-training my brain to get rid of all the crap I had been taught or learnt before. And I'm so glad I did. The search engines have, and are changing further, the way they evaluate your web pages and theme of your site. The search engines have developed new technologies that give your web site a quality score and if your site doesn't shape up, you could find yourself listed on page 1000 of the results section and that's not where you want to be!

Fortunately for you and me, there are a dedicated group of experts led by Charles Hefflin (a renowned SEO expert) who have been working to produce a simple to follow plan of action. This isn't the same information you will have heard before. This is direct from the trenches and everything you are about to see had been tried, tested and proven to get results.

You CAN Write Articles

This follows on nicely from the section above because getting found in the search engines is directly related to the content you have on your web site. In the videos you will learn how to structure your site for best effect but here we look at how to write your content.

One of the biggest problems most people face is writing effective copy for product descriptions or articles. We know we need good copy but the amount of information available is bewildering.

What makes it worse is that much of the information is produced by non-writers who have regurgitated older material or 'gurus' who make it seem more complicated that it really is. (That and the fact they have an ulterior motive to get you to spend more cash on their products)

Over the weekend someone who I have personally met and come to trust released a new guide that cut's through all the hype and hoo-har. Now anyone can write quickly and effectively, whether it's for articles, emails or product copy.

Some of you may have heard the name of Martin Avis. Over the years he has earnt the highest respect of many top internet marketers and clients due to his 'real' approach to marketing and writing. He earnt my respect because his newsletter is very personal and he has never recommended anything that he hasn't personally tried.

His new guide is a revelation and it really does dispel many of the myths that hold people back from writing. It's clear, concise and if you've thought that you can't write, this guide will change your opinion. In fact if you've ever been a child you will be able to write for the internet within hours.

You CAN Write Articles isn't free. At $7 (about £3.50 in real money) it is seriously under-priced in my opinion. There isn't much you can buy these days for under a fiver and if you can't or don't want to spend $7 on something that will really help your business grow, there isn't much hope.
